Hey, I’m Sam — creator of Press ESC.

I’m a mom, a professional overthinker, and a woman who’s one chore away from launching herself into the sun. If you’ve ever stared at your to-do list and thought “absolutely not,” then you’re in the right place.

Press ESC was born out of that exact feeling.
Not the Pinterest-perfect self-care vibe… the “I need five minutes before I lose it” vibe.

I spent years juggling life, kids, work, the mental load, the emotional load, and the why-is-everyone-yelling load. Somewhere in the chaos, I realized I didn’t need another lecture about “making more time for myself.” I needed something fun. Something I could look forward to. Something that smelled amazing and felt like a tiny vacation without me having to plan anything.

So I created The Escape Route — a scent-driven, themed subscription box for women who are bored out of their minds, overstretched, and craving excitement again.

Every month’s box is an immersive little escape.
A mood. A moment. A story.
A whole vibe packed inside one box so you don’t have to think — just open and exhale.

I design every experience with women like us in mind:
